Project Description
Digital Learning across Boundaries project Wild Writing visit
Year 2 children from Standens Barn Primary School visited our University Forest School with students from BA Early Years Education and BA Primary as part of the Erasmus + Digital Learning across Boundaries (DLaB) project.
The theme was Wild Writing to fit in with a project focus this year on using technology outdoors. Students lead the children on a forest bug hunt and a trail, and then created bug hotels in the woods. They were delighted to see a fox, rabbits and squirrels.
Back inside, children researched facts about the bugs they had found and received certificates. They will share their work with pupils in Denmark, Norway and Belgium.
