Welcome to the final topic of this online course: Sustain.
In this topic we share ways in which we explored the sustainability theme in pairs of primary and secondary classrooms in different countries.
For example, classes built prototypes for sustainable products and voted for them, and swapped quizzes on the theme of sustainability. We designed sustainable house improvements such as a solar powered system, a windmill, a wave generator or a water desalinator.
We also investigated decomposition and ways of recycling and reducing waste, making our own bioplastic and using it to create windmill wings. Our activities and reflections are captured in eBooks.
After this topic we will ask you to reflect on how you might use similar approaches or ideas in your own practice, and share any relevant examples of your own.
