Project Description
A lesson plan:
- In the National Curriculum in England, learning in art is underpinned by what is known as the ‘visual elements’. These are colour, tone, line, pattern, texture, shape, space and form.
- When looking at or making art we can’t help but refer to some of these so it is important to learn what they are and the vocabulary associated with them in context.
- In this activity the learner will be given (or choose) one of the visual elements and a definition of it to explore outdoors.
For further details details see the Exploring subject knowledge outdoors lesson plan.
