Our pupils really enjoyed their second project day which was centred around space.
The day started off with a tweet telling the pupils they need to leave earth. The pupils tried to come up with creative solutions which they then modelled in 3D.
After that they collected sounds in the environment to create a CD similar to the gold record NASA sent into space with Voyager I & II. They also got to tweet their favorite sounds.
After that they came up with a solution to share their sounds between different planets.
In groups, they created sketches by each drawing a part of a solution and then getting someone else’s sketch and continuing off of that.
They then decided what their final solution would be and painted that together.
